[PSAS] FCC removes Morse code requirement for amateur radio

I just read in this months QST that the FCC is following the rest of  
the world and has removed the Morse code requirement for amateur radio  
licenses.

This means all Technician class licensees are effectively given the  
same operating privileges as a Tech-Plus as of some time this February  
2007. Ironically this means a previously "no-code-tech" now has CW  
privileges in the Novice parts of the HF bands!

It also means a General class license is just a written test away if  
you are a Tech.
